The Plan for Drive D - The program-drive
On drive D: you should install your programs.
Make a root-folder like ex. WinXP or Win7, and create sub-folders for the software-groups you’ll be using like:
- Graphics
- Video
- Audio
- Text
- Utilities
- Internet
- DVD-Burner
- Webedit
- Camera
- Scanner etc.
This way you’ll have a good overview, and can easily see if ex. an uninstall process in reality removed all the relevant files from the drive.
Unless you have an exorbitant amount of heavy software, 50 Gb will normally be sufficient for drive D:
